SSC Jr Hindi Translator Eligibility 2017 JHT Age Relaxation

Staff Selection Commission organizes the Junior Hindi Translators and Hindi Pradhyapak Exam. Soon Staff Selection Commission will be publishing the Official notification for Jr Hindi Translators (in Subordinate Offices) 2017 on its official website. Therefore candidates who are eligible and interested can apply for this post through online from official website. Those candidates who are interested and going to apply should satisfy the eligibility criteria as given below

Eligibility for SSC Junior Hindi Translator:

Nationality / Citizenship:  Candidates should be an Indian citizen and subject of Nepal and Bhutan or Tibetan who came here and settled in India only. Candidates who migrated from Burma, East African countries of Kenya, Malawi, Pakistan, Zambia, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zaire, Sri Lanka, Vietnam and Ethiopia and settled in India and should have an eligibility certificate issued by the Indian government.

Educational Qualifications:

For Junior Hindi Translators post (in Subordinate Offices):

  • From recognised university should have Masters Degree or equivalent with  English / Hindi as a compulsory
  • From recognised university should have Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with Hindi and English as main subjects (which includes the word necessary and optional).

For Hindi Pradhyapak (in Central Hindi Training Institute):

  • From recognised university should have Master’s degree in Hindi with English as one of the subjects at degree level either as optional or necessary.
  • From recognised university should have Bachelor’s degree in Education or equivalent degree.
  • Candidate should possess atleast two years experience of Hindi teaching at senior secondary level

Age Limit: The age of the candidate should not exceed 30 years.

Age relaxation : As per government rules age relaxation is applicable

  • 5 years of upper age relaxation to SC /ST
  • 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PH candidates,
  • For OBC PH candidates 13 years of age relaxation
  • For PH candidates of SC /ST category 15 years of age relaxation
  • 3 years of upper age relaxation for Ex-servicemen of open category
  • 6 years of upper age relaxation for Ex-servicemen of OBC category
  • 8 years of upper age relaxation for Ex-servicemen of SC /ST category
  • 5 years of upper age relaxation for central government civilian employee of general category
  • 8 years of upper age relaxation for central government civilian employee of OBC category
  • 10 years of upper age relaxation for central government civilian employee of SC / ST category
  • 5 years of upper age relaxation for domiciled candidates of State of Jammu and Kashmir (general candidates)
  • 8 years of upper age relaxation for domiciled candidates of State of Jammu and Kashmir (OBC candidates)
  • 10 years of upper age relaxation for domiciled candidates of State of Jammu and Kashmir (SC / ST candidates)
  • 5 years of upper age relaxation for Defence Personnel disabled in operation during warfare ( general)
  • 8 years of upper age relaxation for Defence Personnel disabled in operation during warfare ( OBC)
  • 10 years of upper age relaxation for Defence Personnel disabled in operation during warfare ( SC / ST )

Application fee:

For unreserved Candidate has to  pay the application fee of Rs 100/- and whereas no fee for the women and reserved category candidates.

Salary:

Selected candidates will be paying Rs 9300/- to Rs 34800/- plus grade pay.

Selection Procedure:

Candidates are selected depending on their performance in written exam and personal interview test.
